Internal & External Communication Document Revision Project
This project helped me apply audience adaptation, clear professional writing, and document design. I focused on improving readability through stronger headings, spacing, layout, bullet points, and simplified language while keeping the tone appropriate for both internal employees and external business audiences.
This project focused on revising and redesigning two Abercrombie & Fitch Co. communication documents: an internal Code of Conduct section and an external financial press release.
The goal was to make both documents clearer, more organized, and easier for their audiences to use. For the internal document, we improved readability by breaking dense policy information into shorter sections, bullet points, and clearer headings. We also focused on consistent spacing, alignment, font size, and relevant visuals to help employees better understand reporting procedures, record-keeping expectations, and workplace responsibilities.
For the external document, we redesigned the press release as a more professional, accessible PDF. We added clearer subheadings, simplified financial terminology, and included more context around the data so readers could better understand Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s financial results and brand performance.
Revised External and Internal Documents
I worked on revising the external document along with Isabel.

Genre Analysis Report
Genre Analysis Presentation - Fashion Forecast
This project analyzed fashion forecast reports as a professional genre used by brands, designers, buyers, merchandisers, and marketers to understand future trends. We examined reports from WGSN and Future Snoops, focusing on how they use research, visuals, structure, tone, and strategic recommendations to turn research into useful insight for decision-making
This project helped me apply genre analysis, audience awareness, visual analysis, and professional research writing. I analyzed how forecasting reports organize information, use persuasive and instructional language, and combine visual storytelling with business strategy to make complex trends easier to understand and apply.
I contributed to selecting the reports and to the recommendation and conclusion sections by gathering my group members’ critiques, identifying the main patterns across our analysis, and summarizing the key takeaways. I helped explain how fashion forecast reports balance research, visuals, and strategy, and how they can be improved through clearer visual connections, stronger summaries, and more accessible formatting.
